伊利诺伊大学香槟分校在全美名列49位,学校以工科类专业见长,但其商科类专业也极具优势。伊利诺伊大学香槟分校商学院(UIUC College of Business)成立于1915年4月27日,成立之初该学院开设经济学、商业组织和商业行为三个专业,在2003年,正式命名为UIUC商学院。伊利诺伊大学香槟分校商学院开设的本科和研究生会计项目,被U.S. News & World Report评为全美最佳会计项目,2010年USNews商学院排名中,UIUC商学院排名为39名,同时被Public Accounting Report评为TOP 5,The Chronicle of Higher Education在学术研究领域排名中,其金融项目排名第三。而现在,伊利诺伊香槟分校商学院开设的课程有会计学、金融学、税务学、管理学、市场营销等多类课程,并可授予学士、硕士及博士学位。其中会计学研究生课程被USNews评为美国TOP5的会计项目,而学校的管理学专业也排在全美第21位。

该专业不要求本科申请背景,并有STEM(36个月的OPT)。该项目还是以商科类课程为主,不属于技术类专业。虽然如此,学生也应该在统计学、数学以及会计等课程上有所侧重。

The core foundation courses are similar to those underpinning any top MBA program. These include fundamental courses (e.g. Statistics, Accountancy, Finance), as well as courses in functional areas of business administration (e.g. Marketing, Organization Design, Process Management).

Information Technology and Control
The concentration in Information Technology and Control is designed to develop leaders in various business fields who understand (1) how to leverage information technology to create value for customers, external partners, and shareholders by designing better information systems to improve business processes and controls; and (2) how managers can assess the strategic, financial, and economic benefits of investing in advanced information systems. The concentration will provide not only a strong foundation in IS/IT area but could be tailored to fit the specific career needs of our students.
Supply Chain Management
The concentration in Supply Chain Management is designed to develop leaders who understand (1) how to assess the trade-offs and make the decisions necessary to sustain high quality products and services at lower costs while maintaining the flexibility necessary to adapt and to respond to evolving market trends; and (2) how to coordinate and integrate supply chain solutions across various intra-organizational and inter-organizational interfaces in any business or organization. The minor or concentration not only will provide a strong foundation in supply chain management principles and practices, but also can be tailored to fit the specific needs of students interested in careers across a wide variety of industries.
Business Data Analytics
The concentration in Business Data Analytics is designed to develop leaders in various business fields who understand (1) how to leverage data to identify new customer segments and market; (2) how to optimize the supply chain and logistics, and (3) how to collect, manipulate and visualize data for business decisions. The concentration will develop skills using data as a foundation for sound decision making in business.
Corporate Governance and International Business (Graduate with 52 credit hours) *Requires Additional Semester*
The concentration in Corporate Governance and International Business is designed to develop leaders in various business fields who understand international business and corporate governance issues within the global economy. It specifically covers topics such as (1) how to create value for multinational partners, employees with diverse cultural backgrounds, and shareholders by designing better organizations and corporate governance; and (2) how managerial practices differ in various national/cultural contexts and why manages must be able to understand the strategic, financial, and economic implications of these differences in managing multinational corporations.

Requirements
· Completion of a bachelor’s degree or the equivalent with a ‘B’ or better grade point average (3.0 on 4.0 scale) from an accredited college in the United States or a recognized institution
· For international applicants where English is not their primary language, a minimum TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) score of 103 iBT, 254 computer-based or IELTS of 7.0 or higher is required to be admitted full status. Lower scores may be considered based on the complete admission application.
You will note that the MS in Technology Management Program does not require the GMAT orGRE. If, however, an applicant has taken the GMAT or GRE and wishes to submit the scores with his/her application, the scores will be taken into account during the application review process.
