1、满足在英语教学的高中学习满3/4年的经历
注意事项
是否要求高中必须在加拿大或者英语是母语的英语国家
Eg：多大
1、You have completed/are completing four or more years of full-time study in a recognized Canadian school (in Canada) that teaches in English
2、You have completed/are completing four or more years of full-time study in an English language school located in a country where the dominant language is English
是否必须是认可的免英语国家列表中的英语授课的高中
Eg：里贾纳大学
For students from countries on the University of Regina English Test Exemption list, successful completion of at least three years of formal, full-time English at a secondary school that is a recognized school or institution where English is primary language of instruction.
是否同时要求高中期间某门课程成绩不低于多少分
1、Completion of the last three (3) years of full-time secondary school education in English in Canada——a minimum grade of 70% in senior level English is required.
2、Completion of the last three (3) years of full-time secondary school education in English in a country in which the principal language of instruction is English—a minimum grade of 70% in senior level English is required.
3、Completion of the last four (4) years of full-time secondary school education in English at a recognized international school in a country in which the principal language of instruction is not English a minimum grade of 70% in senior level English is required.

时长指的是截止到入学前满足3-4年即可而不是申请时候
2、A-LEVEL体系
高中英语课程 English Language or Literature 满足一定分数要求
阿尔伯塔大学
O-level, AS-Level, A-Level, GCSE, IGCSE English Language or Literature course：A final grade of B or better
渥太华大学
passing an A or AS Level English (non-ESL) course with a minimum grade of B
里贾纳大学
GCSE/IGCSE/GCE O' Level English, English Language, or English as a Second Language with minimum grade of 'B' or GCE A/AS/AICE Level English or English Language with minimum grade of 'C'.
注意； 一般要求是成绩B 或者以上居多；
看清具体要求的A-Level英语科目是什么；
此项面语言条件并非所有学校都接受，
适用院校有：
麦吉尔、女王、阿尔伯塔、渥太华、卡尔加里、萨省、维多利亚、新不伦瑞克、康考迪亚、里贾纳等
3、 IB.体系
高中英语课程满足一定分数要求
阿尔伯塔大学
1、International Baccalaureate English A: Literature or English A: Language and Literature：A grade of 5 or better. School must offer IB Diploma Program and appear on the IB School list.
2、International Baccalaureate English B1, B2：A grade of 6 or better.School must offer IB Diploma Program and appear on the IB School list.
维多利亚大学
A score of 4 or higher on IB Higher Level English.
顺利完成I体系授课即可面语言 如女王大学/约克大学/圭尔夫大学/康考迪亚大学/布鲁克大学/
注意；
一般要求是成绩4分或者5分居多；
明确可以豁免的IB具体英语课程是什么；
有没有要求课程必须HL.还是 SL；
此项豁免语言要求并非所有学校都接受，
如多伦多/麦马/戴尔豪西、滑铁卢、卡尔顿、新布伦、劳里埃、纪念、瑞尔森、温莎等都不接受该项
4、 AP.体系
高中英语课程满足一定分数要求
课程要求
Group 1 English (Language A: Literature, Language A: Language and Literature, or Literature and Performance)
AP英语课程包含：
Achieve a final grade of 4 or better on Advanced Placement (AP) English Language & Composition or AP Literature & Composition;
渥太华大学
passing an Advanced Placement in English Language and Composition or Literature and Composition course with a minimum grade of 4
维多利亚大学
A score of 4 or higher on the Advanced Placement Exam in English Language and Composition.
注意； 一般要求是成绩4分居多；
明确可以豁免的AP具体英语课程是什么；
并非所有学校都接受该项豁免语言的途径，
可以接受的院校有ubc 阿尔伯塔、渥太华、卡尔加里、曼尼托巴、萨省、维多利亚、里贾纳等
5、 接受本省英语12
满足一定分数可以免语言
英属哥伦比亚大学
Achieve a grade of 70% or better on the provincial examination portion of BC English 12 or the equivalent.
卡尔加里大学
Achieved a final grade of 80 per cent or better on the Alberta English Language Arts 30-1 (or equivalent);
曼尼托巴大学
Graduation from a Manitoba high school, with five credits at the Grade 12 level, which include two credits of English at the 40S level with an average grade of 75%.
Graduation from a Canadian Curriculum secondary school (other than Manitoba curriculum) with a year 12 English Literature grade of 75% or higher.
注意: 各省分数要求不易需具体确认，建议80+；
并非所有学校都接受该项豁免语言的途径
6、 有post-secondary教育经历
戴尔豪西大学
1年 you studied at an English language institution for at least one year at the post-secondary level.
卡尔加里大学
1年 Successful completion of at least two years of formal, full-time study in English at an accredited or recognized post-secondary institution in Canada or a University of Calgary approved English-speaking country;
约克大学
One full year of study in an accredited university degree program in English in a country where English is a primary language or where English is the primary language of instruction
Two full years of study in English in an accredited college diploma or applied degree program in English in a country where English is a primary language or where English is the primary language of instruction
纪念大学大学
Successful completion of 30 credit hours (or equivalent) at a recognized post-secondary institution where English is the language of instruction. These 30 credit hours must include six transferable credit hours in English courses.

7、 个别免语言情况
满足指定考试分数要求

achieving a minimum score of 550 (old SAT) or 31 (new SAT) on the SAT writing section

Resided in an English speaking country for at least four years immediately prior to your anticipated start date at McMaster.
满足一定法语要求，一般是提供法语教学的大学/项目
Eg：约克大学
Four full years of study in Canada, in English or French, at the high-school level
