You will acquire the following competencies:

Developing Positive Psychology-based solutions to support learners’ holistic learning and well-being,

Developing theoretically and practically useful conceptions of curriculum and curriculum designing,

Designing a coherent set of assessment practices that enhances the efficacious use of AfL compatible sensitive to social-cultural settings,
-
Designing and developing learning experiences with digital media technologies and associated pedagogies,
-
Designing and developing lesson plans and assessment tasks sensitive to diverse learners’ needs that reflect sound pedagogical content knowledge for effective instruction,
-
Conducting classroom inquiry through collaborative professional relationships, and
-
Enacting important professional decision-making skills based on evidence from reflective-practice and inquiry.
The Master of Teaching programme is offered both on part-time and full-time basis. The candidature periods are as follows:

Proficiency in English
A good bachelor’s degree
At least 2 years of teaching experience
Teaching qualification, or its equivalent
Effective from January 2021 intake
The coursework for this programme comprises 6 MTeach courses plus either:
- a dissertation or
- two additional courses (one Open Elective and MTC907 Integrative Project)
MTC907 Integrative Project is open only for applicants pursuing the degree totally by coursework.
