录取要求：

A minimum 2:1 undergraduate Bachelor’s (honours) degree

If you have a lower degree classification, or a degree in an unrelated subject, your application may be considered if you can demonstrate significant relevant work experience, or offer a related graduate qualification (such as a Masters or PGDip).

Work experience:

No previous experience of language teaching is required although any experience including informal tutoring or volunteer teaching and/or observation of teaching will be taken into account in assessing your application.

All applicants are required to complete an English language awareness task. Please look in the Personal Statement and Supporting Information section below for full details of the task.

Courses are divided into modules. You will take modules totalling 180 credits.

You are required to take the following modules:

Language Teaching Methodology (30 credits)

Analysing English for Learning & Teaching (30 credits)

Second/Additional Language Learning: Research, Theory & Practice (30 credits)

Research Methods & Dissertation in Applied Linguistics/Language Learning & Teaching (60 credits)

Optional modules

In addition you are required to take two modules (30 credits) from a range of optional modules. Optional modules may typically include:

Materials Development in English Language Teaching (15 credits)

English for Academic Purposes (15 credits)

Language Assessment (15 credits)

Digital ELT (15 credits)

Sociolinguistics (15 credits)

Cultural Diversity in Language Teaching (15 credits)

Teacher Education (15 credits)
