GLOBAL NETWORK: Participants have the opportunity to cross-learn and share best practices among their cohort and through their exposure to top faculty and business leaders in the growing field of Business Analytics. With a degree from New York University, graduates will join not only the MS in Business Analytics network, but also NYU’s extensive global alumni network.
APPLICATION: The culmination of the program is the Business Analytics Capstone, which gives students an opportunity to apply the learnings of the program by presenting a unified and practical case on a topic of their choosing. This is a team based project with approximately 4-6 students per group.

Blended Learning
The NYU Stern MS in Business Analytics is based on a blended learning approach combining both synchronous (in-person classroom time) and asynchronous learning (independent study).
Modules are divided into three phases: pre-module, module and post-module.
Pre-module: Research Phase
This begins 4-6 weeks prior to the in-class teaching session. Students prepare for the module by completing qualitative and quantitative assignments that include; readings and cases, tutorials and diagnostics, exercises and written assessments. Completion of the pre-module material ensures a more rigorous and productive classroom experience.
Module: Residential Period
Students and leading faculty, industry experts and practitioners come together for valuable “in-class” residential periods. The classroom provides a dynamic environment for discovery and collaboration with your classmates.
Post-module: Application
The post-module is designed as the implementation phase of the module. Students are challenged to apply the material and concepts covered during the pre-module phase and residential period to solidify their learning. Deliverables are in the form of case studies, written assignments, projects and group work.

Admissions Criteria
To apply to the Master of Science in Business Analytics Program, applicants must have:
· A minimum of five years of professional, full-time work experience.
· A bachelor's degree and strong Grade Point Average.
· Demonstrated high aptitude for quantitative analysis and academic success as evidenced by undergraduate and graduate coursework as applicable.
Admissions Process:
The Admissions Process is rigorous and selective. We consider an applicant's candidacy holistically based on the qualities they will bring to the MSBA program.
To Begin:
1. Submit the Preliminary Information Form, which will assist the Admissions Committee in advising you.
2. The Admissions Office will contact you within one week after receipt of your form to discuss your suitability and, if applicable, schedule apreliminary informational interview. If the MS in Business Analytics Program is the right fit, we will invite you to begin the online application.
3. Complete the online application.
In addition to the completed online application, we will need the following:

4. Final Interview. Should the Admissions Committee feel positive about your candidacy upon review of a completed application, we will contact you to schedule a final interview. This can be conducted via phone, Skype, or face-to-face.

Program Costs
The program fee for the Class of 2017 is USD 68,750.
This fee includes tuition, course materials, some meals and official events. Hotel and travel expenses are not included.
Tuition Deposit
A tuition deposit of USD 6,875 is required to secure a spot in the Class of 2017. The deposit is due upon acceptance to the program.
Application Fee
A non-refundable application fee of USD 103 is required when submitting an application and can be paid by credit card.
Financial Aid

Students who wish to use financial aid may be eligible for Federal and/or Private student loans. Federal loans consist of funding provided by the government to domestic students (U.S. citizens and permanent residents only). Most private lenders require non-U.S. citizens and permanent residents to apply with a U.S. based co-signer.
