2. Essay 2 (Required): In 25 words or less, provide us with an interesting fact about yourself not expressed elsewhere in your application. (25 word limit)* 

3. Essay 3 (Optional): Share additional information you think is important in the evaluation of your application, including any concerns you think the Admissions Committee may have regarding your candidacy. (500 word limit) 

除了Essay要求以外，很多院校的商科专业还要求申请者们参加面试，面试的形式包括录制video essay，通过网络工具如Skype的面试，甚至面对面的面试。 

通过面试，招生委员会老师考察申请者的英语口语能力，思辨能力，性格特点及与学校的匹配度。面试题目随机出现，个数不一，因此建议申请者们提前梳理自己的经历，熟悉学校的项目特点，根据以往面试者的经验多多练习。

麻省理工学院金融专业Video Essay要求提交60秒钟的video，借此了解申请者的口语水平，沟通能力以及与斯隆商学院的文化契合度。 

1. All MFin applicants must submit a 60-second video essay responding to an open-ended question. You will need to use an internet-connected computer, with a webcam and microphone. The Video Essay tab will appear in the left-hand navigation of your application ONLY after you have completed all other sections of the application. Once you view your question, you will have one minute to prepare your 60-second response. As part of the application review, the Admissions Committee will evaluate your response to assess your communication skills and fit with the MIT Sloan culture. The general knowledge question is designed to help us get to know you better and does not require prior preparation.

约翰霍普金斯大学金融专业的Video Interview 要求申请者回答两个问题，题目随机。 

1. As an applicant for the full-time degree program, our application process requires you to answer two randomly selected questions by video. 

范德比尔特大学金融专业Master of Science in Finance (MSF) Program at Brandeis IBS 

范德比尔特大学要求申请者提供一篇时长2分钟的video essay，表现申请者的沟通能力和个性特点。 

1. The video essay will allow you to demonstrate your communication skills and show your personality. 

You will be asked a question and will have multiple practice runs before you record your answer. 

The video essay is short (under 2 minutes) and is another data point for the admissions committee to learn about you.

罗彻斯特大学金融专业要求国际生通过InitialView参加面试或者是提交writing sample，来证明英语流利度。 

1. Simon applicants have the opportunity to provide an InitialView interview and writing sample to demonstrate their proficiency in English. Although based in China, InitialView is open to all full-time applicants. Visit the InitialView website to sign up for an interview and send your results to Simon Business School. The Simon Admissions Committee will then use this as part of the holistic review of your application. While this is not a required component, it is an excellent way to add another dimension to your candidacy - so get in front of the camera and showcase who you are!
