【UEA】英国东英吉利大学录取办信息更新
各位同学,东英吉利亚大学MA Broadcast and Digital Journalism 延期至2021年2月1日入学,请看校方原邮件:
Thank you for your interest in studying MA Broadcast and Digital Journalism at UEA.
In our original offer email we stated that the start of your course will be 28 September 2020. I am writing to advise that we need to change your course start date to 1 February 2021.
Unfortunately the pandemic has impacted how we can deliver all of the practical elements of the programme. The MA Broadcast and Digital Journalism course is delivered with a number of media partners. To ensure that we can keep you safe, while delivering these practical elements, we are delaying the start date to 1 February 2021. The course will run for 12 months, finishing in January 2022. The fee for the course has not changed, and all the same offer conditions apply.
Accommodation
You are guaranteed accommodation on campus for the duration of the course, provided you have applied via the Accommodation Preference form by the new deadline of 27 November 2020. If you have already completed your preference form our accommodation team will adjust your application in line with the new start date.
Deposit
We originally gave you a deadline of 31 July 2020 to confirm your place, however this deadline has been extended to 27 November 2020. If you have already made a deposit payment this has been noted by the Admissions Service. If you no longer wish to join the course due to this change please contact us and we will refund your deposit.
Pre-Sessional English
If you are already signed up for an INTO UEA Pre-Sessional English course (PSE), we hope that you will still undertake the programme, before joining us in February 2021. We encourage you to take advantage of our PSE programmes as this year we are able to offer you an INTO UEA PSE Progression award. Through this award the full tuition fee cost of the pre-sessional will be deducted from your university tuition fees should you progress onto an undergraduate or postgraduate programme at UEA.
Deferral or alternative programme starting in September 2020
We will make the change to your start date automatically, but if you are keen to start your studies in September 2020 on an alternative course, or you wish to discuss moving your application to September 2021 please contact us by 31 July 2020. Please note that the fee for courses starting in September 2021 will be subject to an annual fee increase.
We are sorry that this crisis has affected the start date for the course but we hope that you are able to adjust your plans and join us in February.
Kind regards,
Alix Delany
