Postgraduate English language requirements
You are eligible to apply for one of the Postgraduate Pre-sessional English courses if:
Your first language is not English;
You have an offer containing an English language condition to study a degree at the University of Warwick for entry in 2021/22;
You must meet all other conditions of your main degree offer by a date to be confirmed, to be eligible to join the Pre-sessional English language course;
You meet the English language requirements for the Pre-Sessional English course as outlined below.

Requirement for MSc entry with pre-sessional English (PSE)
If you narrowly miss the English standards required, you may be able to attend the Pre-sessional English Course (PSE) in order to clear your English condition.
Please note that:
▪ Candidates who have completed their full undergraduate degree in the UK or another English speaking country will not be eligible to take the PSE
▪ Candidates who have taken a 2+1, 3+1, or 2+2 degree are eligible for the PSE.
▪ An acceptable English qualification (as listed in the table below) will be required for candidates applying for PSE.

Course structure
The course will include at least 2 hours per day (10 hours per week) of interactive engagement with classmates and the class tutor. There will be pre-class set work and post-class activities amounting to 12-14 hours per week, plus additional homework relating to the assessed project and presentation.
