Undergraduate Accommodation Applications
New Undergraduates joining us in September 2017 can apply for accommodation from Monday 8th May 2017.
Whether students have us as our firm or insurance choice, they are guaranteed an offer of a room in accommodation owned, managed or approved by the University if they apply for accommodation by Monday 31st July 2017 and their offer becomes unconditional by Friday 25th August 2017 (12 noon BST)
Students can log back in and change their preferences or upload extra documents until 31st July without affecting their priority. (We still use their original application date when we allocate.)
Payments
A payment of £300 will be required when the room booking is accepted.
The £300 is broken down into the following:
- £120 booking fee which will become the students deposit at the start of their booking. The deposit will be refunded at the end of their tenancy unless they cancel their room or have any outstanding clearing, cleaning, damage or rent charges
- £180 advance payment which students can deduct from their first rent instalment.
Students are guaranteed an offer of a room in accommodation owned, managed or approved by the University if they:
- are paying overseas tuition fees.
- are a new full-time student applying for a single room for the full academic year.
- book accommodation and accept an unconditional course place by 12 noon (BST) on Friday 4 August 2017
