We note from our records that, subject to the payment of any fees that may still be outstanding and the decision of the Board of Examiners, you may be eligible to receive an academic award in December 2016.
You are now required to register your intentions for graduation. The web service will open on MONDAY 17 OCTOBER 2016 at 2.00PM. The deadline for the University of Liverpool to receive your intentions is WEDNESDAY 09 NOVEMBER 2016.
Do not attempt to access the portal before this time as your ceremony will be unavailable.
You will need to log into the University’s graduation web portal to submit your intentions. You need to log in to this service using your University of Liverpool Student ID 201096469 and your Date of Birth.
You need to tell us your graduation ceremony intentions; that is, whether you wish to:
· Graduate and attend your graduation ceremony; or,
· Graduate in absentia; or,
· Postpone your graduation until the next scheduled occasion in July 2017.
In most cases you will be receiving this information before your final results are published. Please be fully aware that the receipt of this information does not confirm your qualification for the award of a degree, diploma or certificate. You must satisfy all of the conditions as specified at www.liverpool.ac.uk/graduation/planning/eligibility in order to qualify to graduate.
Why you need to register your graduation intentions
It is very important that you inform the University of your graduation ceremony intentions. Failure to do this by the deadline may see you denied the opportunity to attend your ceremony. Even if you don’t want to attend, you must still tell the University your intentions as this serves as your confirmation of your graduation personal details (e.g. confirmation of your full name as it will appear on your award certificate and in the commemorative programme). Submission of your details via the portal will also ensure the University can accurately send out your award certificate and a copy of the programme to you in the post. Please note that the University cannot be held responsible for your official documentation containing inaccurate personal details or being sent to an incorrect destination should you fail to submit your intentions by the deadline using the graduation portal.
Guest tickets
If you submit your intention to attend your graduation ceremony using the graduation web portal then you will be guaranteed the opportunity to receive two free guest tickets, in addition to your own guaranteed free ticket of admission.
A small number of extra tickets may also be available for your ceremony, in addition to your two free guest tickets. The number of extra tickets available will be made clear when you submit your intentions using the portal. The cost of these extra tickets will be £10.00 each, payable by credit or debit card (all major cards accepted). Please note that all extra guest tickets are offered on a first come, first served basis.
Tickets will be allocated approximately one week before your graduation ceremony and will be available for collection at the registration point on the day of your ceremony. You will be provided with further details regarding this registration point by email in due course and in good time prior to your ceremony.
