Last week international A-levels were released, and on Thursday, the majority of A-level candidates will receive their results. It is also a busy time for students of all qualifications as firm and insurance choices make their decisions. I am therefore writing to remind you of the UoN Clearing courses and entry requirements matrix, which now has a number of updates for A-level grades (or equivalent) including:
Law - ABB or higher without LNAT (if LNAT has not been taken during the year)
Economics - ABB
Business - BBB
Due to our strategic goals to increase numbers over the next four years, we have been able to adapt our requirements for Clearing and Adjustment, to offer a limited number of additional places over the next week or so.

The matrix covers all courses currently in Clearing and our A-level/IB requirements, including subject specifics included and excluded. As you'll be aware, we accept a wide range of qualifications and appreciate that many of your students will not have taken A-levels or the IB. However, we hope that these entry requirements can be used as a guide for other local qualifications. We are of course on hand for you to check requirements with if you have any doubts.
We also entrust you with treating the information confidential. The University has not shared this level of detail before, but we know it helps you continue your high level of counselling throughout the summer and makes the student eligibility process a lot easier.
