University of Surrey Representative Update- August 2016
1. Postgraduate deposit
Although the postgraduate deposit deadline has now passed, there are still some programmes that are accepting the deposits (excluding Surrey Business School and English programmes- MA Creative Writing, MFA Creative Writing, and MA English Literature). If your student is holding an offer from the programme that is still open please encourage them to pay the deposit as soon as possible. If you are unsure whether the programme is open please contact us at international@surrey.ac.uk Please note that we are no longer able to guarantee University accommodation as the deadline has passed and the students are advised to look for private accommodation.

Our Clearing line will open at 7am on Thursday, 18th August. Telephone numbers will become available on Wednesday 17th. Please refer to the link below for more information:
We advise that for Clearing enquiries you ring the main Clearing line on 18th and 19th rather than the individual staff members as we are likely to be away from our desk most of the day to take Clearing calls. Our inbox international@surrey.ac.uk will be monitored throughout the day and we will respond as soon as possible.
Please note that the applicant portal and agent portal for Undergraduate students will be unavailable from 3pm on Friday 12th August to 6am on Thursday 18th August.
4. Meet and Greet and Orientation registration
Meet and Greet and Orientation registration forms are now live. Please advise your students to register from the link below. Please note that students must have booked a flight to the UK before they can register.
