8.40 am, where you will be welcomed to the programme. Directions can be found in the joining letter in the attachment. Please read it carefully, as it includes important information about the induction. There is no airport-pickup service organised during the summer, but I attach a guide to getting to QMUL from various London airports, which you might find useful.
The Admissions Office will have sent you an email containing your pre-enrolment information.
We would advise you to bring UK currency (pound sterling, GBP) with you when you travel, in case you need to spend any money in the first few days. It will likely take some time before you are able to open a UK bank account.
The Student Handbook, also attached to this e-mail, provides useful information about the programme and studying at QMUL, so please make sure you read it carefully. The handbook will also be available on-line after you enrol, and you will be able to access it at any time.
Please ensure that you complete your pre-enrolment on-line on your web portal (MySIS) before arrival. The pre-enrolment is completed when you have received a printable certificate of pre-enrolment with a barcode that can be scanned at enrolment. Please bring this certificate along with you to enrolment, as it contains will help to speed up the enrolment process.
I look forward to welcoming you to Queen Mary University of London on Thursday.
Please do not hesitate to contact me, if you have any queries.
Please could you let us know urgently, if your plans have changed and you no longer wish to attend the 9-week Pre-Sessional Programme, or if you are expecting any potential delays.
