Congratulations on receiving an offer from WMG, The University of Warwick. There are a few things that we would like to remind you.
Supporting Documents
To clear any conditions that remain in your offer, you need to send us final degree transcripts / certificates. Please remember that we cannot accept scanned versions, you must send us an original paper version or attested copy. Details of the acceptable format for final documents are here.
The University set up 2 representative offices in China and you may contact the offices to help certifying your documents. The contact information is found below:
CAS
From late June 2017 onwards, once your offer is unconditional and you have accepted it, we will send you a "Do you need a CAS?" email. This email is sent automatically to the email address(es) you specified on your application form.
When you receive the email, follow the instructions carefully, since it requires you to confirm important details such as your passport number. If you need to change any details, you will receive a second email asking you to check and confirm.
Once you have confirmed your details are correct, we will email you a "CAS number." Remember the information in your "CAS number" needs to be used in conjunction with the Tier 4 information.
Pre-sessional English Language Course
The application deadline of the 6-week pre-sessional English language course is 14 July 2017. Application form can be found here.
Accommodation
Application for accommodation is now open. The deadline for completing application is 31 July 2017. You will still be able to submit an application after this date, but it will be considered as a late application and different priorities will apply. Details can be found here.
Pre-departure Briefing
The University has organized pre-departure briefings in July. Details are listed here. Students should have received the invitation from the University and you can register using their unique weblink in the invitation email. If not, you can contact the respective offices for registration:
Social Media
The Department and the University have set up Wechat / Weibo/ Facebook pages for offer holders. You may wish to subscribe the same so that you can receive updates of the University and to pre-empty queries.
