Dear members of the UNSW community
Today's update is:
· The Department of Health has advised:
o If you have travelled to another country from mainland China to see out the 14-day travel exclusion period, and have had no recent contact with people with COVID-19, you will be welcomed to Australia.
o If you have travelled from overseas and begin to feel unwell and present symptoms of COVID-19, you should seek immediate medical attention. We suggest you call ahead, explaining your symptoms and travel history, rather than attending in person.
· The Australian Government has set up a Coronavirus Health Information Line. Please call +61 1800 020 080. NSW Health also has a free helpline. Please call Health Direct on +61 1800 022 222.
· More health information and advice is published on our FAQs page.
Below you will find journal articles, updated daily, that our Faculty of Medicine consider to be helpful in allowing us to better understand this incident and its potential consequences.
