Summary
The Project Coordinator will report directly to the Director of the Center for Behavioral Cardiovascular Health (CBCH). This innovative research team is looking for a highly organized, motivated, and enthusiastic person to support both project-oriented and administrative tasks to help propel network programs forward.
At CBCH our goal is to work together as a collective (faculty, admin, and staff) to advance shared values and goals; with the ultimate aim of developing and implementing concrete steps to combat institutional racism and promote social justice.
Additionally, the ideal candidate will be able to adapt to a fast-paced environment with evolving responsibilities, workloads, and work schedules while coordinating a broad range of administrative and support activities related to the research mission of the Center. The Project Coordinator will be expected to shift work hours and schedules as needed to accommodate the Director’s schedule, including spanning conventional and off-shift hours.
Responsibilities
Specific project-oriented responsibilities include:

Lead the coordination efforts of the Science of Behavior Change (SOBC) Resource and Coordinating Center’s (RCC) at Columbia University to foster and maintain collaborative relationships across the NIH, Principal Investigators, project coordinators, and associated SOBC scientists, as well as populate and sustain relevant digital tools and resources (e.g. the SOBC Measures Repository, website, etc.)

Coordinate all NIH, RCC, and working group meetings and generate meeting agendas, minutes, and PPTs

Monitor and upkeep the Measures Repository to ensure the production of high-quality, relevant measures, as a necessary component of the SOBC annual milestones in tandem with the Busara Center’s Open Instruments Project

Maintain the functionality of the SOBC website by resolving problems, identifying system improvements, and routinely updating with new and relevant information
-
Communicate with website developers on coding issues and confirmation of monthly billing
-
Provide strategic leadership, efficient coordination, and initiate the dissemination of web-based materials
-
Support manuscript and presentation dissemination by organizing speaking opportunities with deadlines, speaker rosters, submission guidelines, and collaborate on presentation content drafts

Lead SOBC efforts to research new media outreach opportunities

Develop content for various SOBC social media sites (i.e., Facebook and Twitter), and work to consistently grow the network
-
Perform administrative tasks consisting of generating content for the SOBC Newsletter, website, Wikipedia page, and social media accounts

Coordinate SOBC Grand Rounds webinar series by creating and disseminating announcements via email and communicating directly with high profile presenters

Organize CE credits for all presentations that adhere to the APA Division 12 guidelines

Provide administrative and scientific support for all sub-studies
Specific administrative-oriented responsibilities include:

Management of daily tasks, calendar, and responsibilities related to the CBCH Director
-
Interface daily with physicians, statisticians and project managers who work on the Director’s team
-
Direct inter-organizational and external communications including telephone calls, voicemails, fax, research documents, etc. to the appropriate persons

Organize scientific conference itineraries
-
Coordinate and schedule research meetings and science conferences
-
Create PowerPoint presentations
-
Prepare and distribute minutes from CBCH meetings
-
Coordinate schedules and make travel arrangements
-
Complete reports, including expense reports, for Principal Investigators
-
Conduct systematic reviews, scientific manuscript preparation, data collection through research and/or observation, and provide support on other, center-wide tasks on an as needed basis

Perform other duties, as assigned and requested
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent in education, training and experience and at least 2 years of related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to direct a multi-disciplinary or varied constituency group toward a common goal.
Experience with the public in service or occupational roles.
Leadership experience within occupational role.

The Numerical Brain Lab at Vanderbilt University headed by Dr. Gavin Price (www.numericalbrainlab.com) is seeking a full-time Research Assistant (see job posting) for a NSF grant funded project investigating the longitudinal development of numerical processing brain systems in children from kindergarten to second grade. The chosen candidate will assist with behavioral and Neuroimaging (e.g., fMRI) data collection, clean and organize data (e.g., RedCap), preprocess fMRI data, update and maintain lab materials (e.g., database, IRB), and recruit research participants.
Qualifications
a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, or related field;

Our team, EC PRISM, within the Center for Translational Neuroscience at the University of Oregon, is seeking a Research Specialist to support our work in providing early childhood organizations with individualized research services as well as science-based tools to help them in areas of early childhood program design, implementation, measurement, evaluation, and scale. EC PRISM’s mission is to empower early childhood organizations by providing accessible, science-based tools and guidance.
This is a career, fully remote position.
