多伦多大学的申请要求和学费
更多详情

多伦多大学由三大校区组建而成:圣乔治校区(St.George Campus, UTSG),密西沙加校区(Mississauga Campus),和士嘉宝校区(Scarborough Campus)

相同点:

1. St.George Campus, UTMUTSC的学生共同使用多伦多大学学生校园网系统(Acorn/ROSI)。无论以任何形式进入多伦多大学三校区,都必须统一通过多伦多大学注册中心(Enrolment Service)进行成绩核实、信息完善和注册;

2. UTM, UTSCFaculty of Arts and Science, St.George隶属于多伦多大学文理学部(Division of Arts and Science),在任何文理学部所修得的学分(低于10个学分情况下)都可以进行互相转换,所以UTM, UTSCFaculty of Arts and Science, St.George之间是完全可以进行校区互转的;

注:文理学部的范围不包括商科,工程,法律以及医学专业)

3. 从多伦多大学三校区(UTM, UTSCSt.George)毕业的本科学生将统一颁发多伦多大学学位证书;

4. St.George校区校长任多伦多大学校长(主要负责St.George校区的管理和对UTSCUTM的监督),UTSCUTM的校区长担任多伦多大学副校长(主要负责各自校区的管理和对多伦多大学文理学部的监督)。

不同点:

1. 多伦多大学士嘉宝校区和密西沙加校区不提供工程学、法律学和普通医学的本科、研究生及博士生教育,只提供文理学部的本科教育和少数尖端学科的研究生教育(如:法医学(Forensic Science)、应用生物科技(Applied Biosciences and Biotechnology)和传播、文化和信息技术(CommunicationCulture and Information TechnologyCCIT)只在UTM开设,国际发展学(International Development Studies)、环球亚洲学(Global Asia Studies)和环境科学(Environmental Science)只在UTSC开设);

2. 校区间课程难度和考试试题都是根据任课教授自己而定与学校本身无关,但同等课程三校区教受的内容一致(都是经过多伦多大学教务管理中心批准通过的)。

学费

Tuition Fees for International Students The University of Toronto is committed to maintaining and strengthening its international enrolment as expressed in the Statement of Commitment Regarding International Students given in Appendix A2. The University has invested in, and will continue to invest in, services to enhance the success of our international students. The proposed tuition fee schedule for international students is in Appendix C. International fees are set at a level to more closely reflect the true cost of educating students, whereas revenue from grants and tuition fees for domestic students remains well below the true cost. In many programs, the University of Toronto’s 2018-19 tuition fees for international undergraduates were at or near the highest amongst our Canadian U15 peers; compared to US peer institutions our international fees remain toward the top of the comparator range before the exchange rate is considered. This is appropriate given the University of Toronto’s place in the international rankings and international student enrolment remains very strong. A comparison of 2018-19 Arts & Science undergraduate tuition is a useful example. The University of Toronto Arts & Science international undergraduate tuition and fees of $51,273 CAD ($41,018 USD)1 was the highest amongst the U15. Tuition and fees for undergraduate out-of-state Arts & Science students for AAU public universities in the United States ranged from $23,392 to $49,350 USD, with a mean of $34,759 USD. Private institutions’ fees remain considerably higher at $47,400 to $59,400 USD. Over the last five years, Canadian dollar exchange rates have been favourable to students from key international markets such as China, India, South Korea, Hong Kong and the United States. The University carefully monitors applications, offers, yields and entering averages. Applications continue to rise each year while yield rates for most programs are stable or increasing; entering averages are also increasing across all three campuses. That is, the University continues to attract high quality students in ever greater numbers. Tuition increases for students entering the tri-campus Arts & Science programs will increase by 7% in 2019-20. Tuition increases for students entering Applied Science and Engineering programs will also increase by 7%. Most other entering and continuing students will see 5% increases. Tuition fee increases for continuing international students will increase by no more than 5%. The weighted average undergraduate international tuition fee increase in 2019-20 is 5.4%. Tuition fees for students entering second year of the Commerce, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, UTM Visual Studies, Communication, Culture and Information Technology (CCIT), and Interactive Digital Media programs in 2019-20 will increase by 7%, revised downward from the 9% increase reported for information as part of the 2018-19 tuition fee schedule. 1 Converted at $0.80 8 University of Toronto Students in the 2019 entering cohort will be moving to second year in 2020-21. The proposed increase for second year in 2020-21 is 7% over the 2019-20 second-year cohort for each of these programs (Schedule C2). Students in the new Bachelor of Information program will pay the same tuition as Computer Science students. Since 2018-19, most international PhD students at the University of Toronto pay tuition fees equivalent to those of domestic students. The fee for international students that pay the standard domestic SGS fee will be lowered by 10% from $6,900 to $6,210 for 2019-20 for doctoral students in all years of study consistent with the new Provincial tuition framework. Tuition fees for international students in research-stream master’s, professional master’s, and professional doctoral programs are not subject to the new framework. Tuition fee increases for entering students in professional master’s programs will range from 2.5% to 10% depending upon the resource requirements of the program and the level of the tuition fee relative to competing programs. Tuition fees for incoming students in the EdD and DMA programs will increase by 5% for 2019-20. The weighted average tuition fee increase for graduate international students (excluding international PhD students paying domestic rates) in 2019-20 is 4.5%. The tables in Appendix C also include proposed international tuition fees for 2020-21. In most cases, tuition will increase by 5%. For a few programs, increases ranging between 2% to 4% are proposed based on competitive recruitment environments, while for other programs, increases greater than 5% for incoming students are needed to cover resource requirements. These fees will be brought forward for Governing Council approval next year. They are included in this report to provide potential applicants with information regarding preliminary tuition fee levels for planning purposes Schedule C4 includes the international fees for students in combined, double degree or dual degree programs. Most combined programs do not currently have international students enrolled. In the event that they do in future, international tuition fees would be charged following the same practices as outlined in the domestic Schedule B4.
