Arts Management, Policy and Practice MA

课程设置：

All students take two core modules (Arts Management: Principles and Practice, and Cultural Policy) and write a dissertation (15,000 words, or for a practice-based dissertation 8,000-10,000 words plus project documentation). The remaining credits (two or three additional modules) are taken from a range of options including:

Work Placement in an arts organisation

Business Strategies for the Arts (Marketing, Finance and Business Planning)

Creative Learning: Arts, Heritage and Education

Art, Culture and Communities.

Subject to availability, modules may also be selected from the MA in Art Gallery and Museum Studies or from elsewhere in the school.

入学要求：

A First or good Upper Second Class Honours degree (or overseas equivalent), normally in a relevant Humanities or Social Science area. Applicants should also be able to demonstrate experience and/or significant understanding of the professional issues surrounding arts management and/or practice. Mature applicants with evidence of substantial prior professional experience will be considered on an individual basis.

An overall grade 7.0 (with a minimum writing score of 7) in IELTS is required or 100+ in the iTOEFL.

Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship MSc

We encourage you to make the most of our cutting edge knowledge and real world experience in your choice of three optional course units and dissertation project, allowing you to develop an in-depth knowledge and understanding of a particular aspect of innovation. Optional course units (subject to demand), in 2012/13 include: Business Creation and Development; Case Studies in Technology Developing Enterprising Individuals; Eco-Innovation Management; Industrial Leadership and Innovation; Innovation and Market Strategy; Innovation through Creativity and Design; New Entrepreneurial Ventures; Regional, National and Global Dimensions of Science, Technology and Innovation; Service Innovation; Sustainable Innovation Management; and Water and Sanitation Planning and Policy in Developing Countries. An optional unit from another course in MBS can be taken with the permission of the respective course directors.

We normally look for a UK bachelor degree with first or upper second class honours (2:1) degree from a UK university, or the overseas equivalent, in any discipline.

When assessing your academic record we take into account your grade average , position in class, references and the standing of the institution where you studied your qualification.

IELTS: 7.0 overall with speaking and writing 6.5 and no other element below 6.0
