美国暑期课程项目推荐
夏校summer school 起源于美国哈佛大学，学校在暑假期间安排课程，一种用于本校在读学生修学分的课程；一种开设给非本校的学生，来体验学校和专业老师的课程。到现在暑期课程在美国大学之间已经很普遍了，初高中学生也很喜欢提前到美国大学去感受大学的课堂，同时也帮助提升美本申请的软实力背景。说到这里简单给大家对比一下游学。
游学：游览为主,体验语言课程，针对留学国家不明确或者只是想体验国外学习生活环境的学生。
美国暑期课程分类：
1. 非学分课程：体验为主，根据兴趣选课程，体验原汁原味的大学课堂。难度 *
2. 学分课程：选修自己感兴趣的专业，学分在升入大学后可以换学分。难度 ***
3. 大学特色项目：由大学或者学院组织学术研究项目或实践项目，专业性高。难度 *****

Non-Credit Courses
非学分的项目学生可以自由组合两门最感兴趣的课程，比如arts, engineering, English, history, mathematics, medicine, modern languages, music, and science. Partners include the Eastman School of Music, the Medical Center, the School of Nursing, the Warner School of Education, and the Hajim School of Engineering. Students will participate in class discussions, field trips, group projects, experiments, and labs, putting new found knowledge to use in creative ways.
Intensive Studies
The Intensive Studies programs give students the opportunity to get a deeper look in to non-credit, college-level material and focus on a specific area of interest. These programs are highly sought-after and have limited number of spaces, making them our most selective programs.

Entrepreneurship Academy
这个3周的创业学院项目带你洞察企业家精神，社会责任个，风险管理，商业运作，帮你提升公众演讲能力，沟通能力，社交策略，团队建设技巧等等，由于名额有限，对于没有托福成绩的同学，同时对商科感兴趣可以考虑，学校对于每天的时间把控也是很严格的。
Explore the advantages and challenges of managing your own enterprise in the Entrepreneurship Academy. Our three-week program takes an in-depth look at ethical entrepreneurship, social responsibility, risk management, and the business operations of both the private and nonprofit sectors. You will have opportunities to hear from entrepreneurs across different industries and visit a local incubator to get a firsthand look at what it takes to become a successful entrepreneur. Bridging theory and practice, you will learn the basics of design thinking, mold ideas into clear business plans, and participate in a final pitch competition and showcase. With an emphasis on personal development, our program incorporates practical, hands-on experience to help you build and improve your public speaking and communications skills, networking strategies, and team-building techniques.

特色：学生在杰出导师指导下，自由选择一个生物或者生物科学领域研究项目，项目需要大量的图书馆和网络资源研习，书面报告写作，研究生结果演讲展示，项目结束可以获得6学分。RABS offers a small number of serious, research-oriented students the rare opportunity to join a top-notch laboratory at one of the world’s leading research institutions. The schedule for BIOG 2000 will vary by individual lab placement, but each student should expect to spend a minimum of 40 hours a week in their laboratory in order to receive six lab credits.
