推荐几所应用语言学专业的英国大学-新东方前途出国

很多本科是语言类专业的同学，都很愿意选择TESOL这个专业。因此申请TESOL的人越来越多，申请难度也变得越来越大，TESOL不仅要求要有相关背景，很多学校还建议有一定的工作经验。 如果想申请相关专业，又没有工作经验，本科也是语言类专业的同学，也可以考虑应用语言学这个专业，很多课程都是有共通的。下面给大家推荐几所学校的语言学与应用语言学专业，同学们可以结合录取要求，查看自己是不是符合条件。

1.      伦敦大学学院

专业：Applied Linguistics MA

要求：Normally a minimum of a second-class UK Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject (e.g. English, languages, linguistics, communication), or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard is required.

雅思：Good level: Overall grade of 7.0 with a minimum of 6.5 in each of the subtests 

2.      爱丁堡大学

专业：Applied Linguistics MSc

要求：A UK 2:1 honours degree, or its international equivalent, in linguistics. We may also consider students without a linguistics degree if you if you have substantial practical experience as a language professional.

Entry to this programme is extremely competitive.

雅思：IELTS: total 7.0 (at least 6.5 in each module) 

3.      曼彻斯特大学（慎重选择，会以没有雅思成绩为由暂不审理）

专业：MA Linguistics 

要求：We normally expect students to have a First or Upper Second class honours degree or its overseas equivalent in a humanities-based subject area.

雅思：An overall grade of 7.0 (with a minimum writing score of 7) in IELTS is required

4.      国王学院 （这个专业虽然不要求语言教学经验，但是还是有一定的相关经验，哪怕是非正式的，也会好一些）

专业：Applied Linguistics and English Language Teaching MA

要求：A 2:1 undergraduate degree is usually required in a relevant subject (for example: a foreign language; English; Linguistics/Applied Linguistics/Language and Communication; Psychology; a social science subject). Alternative qualifications may be considered. In order to meet the academic entry requirements for this programme you should have a minimum 2:1 undergraduate degree with a final mark of at least 60% or above in the UK marking scheme. If you are still studying you should be achieving an average of at least 60% or above in the UK marking scheme.

Work experience:

No previous experience of language teaching is required although any experience including informal tutoring or volunteer teaching  and/or observation of teaching will be taken into account in assessing your application.

雅思：7.0 overall with a minimum of 6.5 in each skill

5      伯明翰大学

专业：MA Applied Linguistics

要求：We usually require an upper second-class Honours degree, or equivalent, in Applied Linguistics, Linguistics, English Language or another relevant subject (e.g. TEFL/TESL/TESOL, Translation Studies, English Literature, Communication Studies). Appropriate work experience will also be taken into consideration.

雅思： 6.5 with no less than 6.5 in any band

6.      利兹大学

专业：Linguistics MA

要求：A bachelor degree with a 2:1 (Hons) in a relevant subject such as languages, English, education, psychology, speech therapy, including at least one linguistics module, passed with a good grade. Relevant professional experience will also be considered. Applicants must demonstrate familiarity with the discipline of linguistics and the aims of the course in their supporting statement.

雅思：IELTS 6.5 overall, with no less than 6.0 in all components
