Flights from China to Manchester are now available – please act promptly to book your seat
There is still time to book your flight with Hainan airlines from cities in mainland China, via Chongqing, to Manchester airport. Flights are available until 12 November 2020 on a closed charter basis, meaning it is only available to students who have a confirmed study place at the University of Sheffield and a number of other participating universities. Flights have been granted via special permission from the Chinese Government and are only available to students holding a valid study place at participating universities.

If you would like to book a seat on a flight with Hainan airlines from China, it is important that you act promptly to secure a seat. Click the link below to complete the airline survey and a Hainan airlines representative will contact you directly within 1-2 days of receiving your survey response in order to manage your booking.

2. Free Airport Pick up Service
The University of Sheffield is offering a free airport pick up service from Manchester Airport to Sheffield for those arriving on the Hainan Airlines closed charter flights. Once your booking with Hainan has been confirmed, please complete this form to let the University know whether you will be using our free airport pickup service from Manchester Airport to Sheffield.

Why have I received this email?
We are contacting you as our records indicate that you hold an offer for a course at the University of Sheffield scheduled to start between 29th September and 21st November and you are currently domiciled in mainland China. Please note that this email has been sent to all the email addresses we have for you in our records, so you may receive this more than once. If you have already completed the survey and booked your flight you do not need to complete the Hainan form again. If you have booked your flight and want to request the free airport pick up service, you should complete this form.
