3.11.1  院系简介

·         Minimum GRE V146 , Q155

·         A strong background in mathematics or statistics

·         At least three semesters of advanced calculus

·         One semester of statistics is recommended

·         Minimum TOEFL 79 (our department prefers closer to 100); IELTS 6.5 with no individual sub-score below 6.0

MPH in Biostatistics

·         学制2年，除了统计技巧以外，还涉及多个知识领域：健康护理组织，环境健康，公卫生物基础等

·         有实地实践课程要求，并有附属机构提供机会

申请要点

·         A GPA of 3.0 or above

·         Minimum GRE scores in the 50th percentile for each category

·         at least three semesters of successful coursework in calculus. Prior coursework in advanced calculus and statistics is desirable, but not essential. Also highly recommended are:

·          One general biology course

·          One health related science course (e.g., nutrition, anatomy, microbiology, or physiology)

·          One year of college level chemistry

·          Two courses in behavioral sciences, including a course in sociology or social psychology, and a course in subjects such as sociology, anthropology, psychology, political science or economics

·          A basic computing course

·         Minimum TOEFL 79 (our department prefers closer to 100); IELTS 6.5 with no individual sub-score below 6.0

MS in Bioinformatics and Biostatistics
